3 HELP ME! I have a zero!!!! There are only three places that a zero can be in a number – beginning, middle, or end. Here is how we know if they are significant too. Zero at the beginning is NEVER Significant. Ex Zero in the middle is ALWAYS Significant. Ex. 2004 Zero at the end are significant ONLY if there is a decimal. Ex and 3.00
