11 To enable visitors to respond to provocative challenges and engage with heritage via the collections in a non-textual way via digital media 2. To enable visitors to find ways into and connect the stories behind collection objects from all project partners 3. To present content and its context for viewers to experience in a way that creates a sense of empathy 4. To investigate how to capture conversation and debate between visitors around the stories and objects highlighted via the digital interpretation tool, and feed this back into the collections, enhancing other users’ experience of them Visitors were asked ‘How did voyages of exploration change our view of the world?’ and then used either the gestural or touchscreen interfaces to create a visual journey by selecting one of four images displayed that related to the previous image chosen.
