3 EXAMPLE – “The Killers Project”
Research a poisonous/toxic organism. Each student signs up to join a group to work on an area of interest. There are more “choice lines” than students so everyone gets the chance to select a favorite area. Students select a method of presenting the information they research from the choice wheel Today’s organism: Hapalochlaena lunulata (greater blue-ringed octopus) Create a web search WILD CARD Create an infomercial to sell it Interview an expert Write a children’s book Prepare a reenactment WILD CARD Write a rap song
