Corporation Name: Wisconsin Farm Progress Days Incorporated Period existence: Perpetual Purpose: To promote a prosperous and permanent agriculture for Wisconsin by conducting, Wisconsin Farm Progress in communities of the state with agricultural contests, conservation demonstrations, machinery exhibits, agricultural tours, educational events, programs and displays, and anything or incidental to the conduct of such activities, which may be conducted in cooperation with other persons and organizations.

First show (two days), low attendance (5,000) due to heavy (8.8 inches)rains.

The only time the show returned to same county in the following year Plowing contests were a part of the show-Youth Level Land Plowing Contest Winner

1957-Established three year rotation 1958-First three-day show-Lafayette County 1967-First with Tues, Wed, Thurs dates 1980-Established two year rotation(fall-summer) 1988-Established three year rotation (fall-2 summer) 1994-First Commemorative Tractor 2001-State Hired Exhibit Coordinator 2003-First show with new name-WFTD 2007-Last fall show-all summer
