If the governor vetoes a bill created by the Missouri legislature a 2/3’s vote in both houses may override his veto
If the governor appoints someone to government position it must be approved by Senate
If something were to happen to him the next person in line to take over is the Lieutenant Governor

There are 163 members in the Missouri House of Representatives and 34 members in the Missouri Senate
Term for Senators is 4 years
Term for House of Representatives is 2 years
In cases of impeachment the House will impeach and the Senate will serve as judge
