Workday will provide key Penn users with greater access and ability to manage worker’s data. Multiple Workday components (or business processes) are a part of managing a worker’s lifecycle, but every lifecycle is unique to each individual worker. More information on this Workday functionality will be communicated in the coming months.

Each user’s home page will display different worklets, depending on the position and responsibilities.
Notifications
The Workday notifications page displays list of completed business processes sent to the specific user.
This list is for information purposes only, no action is required.

Workday allows for increased visibility into supervisory organizations including organizational structure, reporting structure, and direct reports. To access supervisory organizations:
Supervisory organization information can be accessed by clicking on the My Team worklet and then My Org Chart under the View section

All workers will be hired into a supervisory organization
Employees who report to Jane Doe
Supervisory org. Individual drill down. Action and information
Managers are orange, even if they report directly to another manager.
Employees are blue
Click on a person’s square to view profile information. Information available depends on security role.
