Format of the Day: 08:35 Registration 08:40 Worship 09:00 Session 1 09:45 Session Break time 10:45 Session 3 11:30 Session 4 12:15 Whole School Picnic 13:00 Students to be off site Each year group will attend four sessions in rotation in the Sports Hall, Main Hall, Performance Space and on the field (in tutor rooms if raining). There will also be a fancy dress competition and bake off with prizes

4 Fancy Dress: Theme – representing who you are

5 Celebrate diversity and equality with cake!
As a student of Bishop Justus you are invited to take part in a competition for the best cake to celebrate diversity and equality at our school. What would you have to do? To enter competition you have to; Make or buy a disposable base for your cake (it can be put on a nice piece of cardboard). Design a small card with the following information: Your name Your form The name of the cake 3) Make and decorate the cake that will reflect diversity, equality or represent who you are. Bring the cake to school in the morning of 20th July 2016 no later than 8.20 a.m.

6 Picnic: Bring some food to celebrate your culture

7 Equalities and Diversity Mural Each form will be given an A3 piece of material to decorate on the theme of Equality and Diversity – this should be personal to your form group. Be as creative as possible as your form’s material will be sewn together with every other form group’s piece to create a whole school mural which will be on display.

12 Engage The bombing of three Tube trains and a bus - carried out by four bombers linked to al-Qaeda carrying rucksacks of explosives - was the worst single terrorist atrocity on British soil. At just after 08:50 on 7 July 2005, three explosions took place on the Underground - 26 people died at Russell Square, six at Edgware Road and seven at Aldgate. Almost an hour later, a fourth device was set off on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square, killing 13 people.
