6. You’re watching a horror movie that has a killer on the loose
You’re watching a horror movie that has a killer on the loose. You and the rest of the audience know that the teenagers should not go walking in the woods because the killer is lurking in the shadows. They think it will be fun and head into the woods.
Dramatic Irony

7. A young man lies and breaks a date with his steady girlfriend so that he can go to the movies with a new girl (cheater). When he goes to buy a snack, he runs into his steady girlfriend who is with another guy.
Situational Irony

8. Tim’s parents are proud of the “A” he got on the test, but we know he cheated.
Alex writes a love poem to Judy but we know that Judy loves Devin.
