4 GISC Moscow – candidate DCPCs
Following DCPCs identified as candidate DCPC where GISC Moscow is primary GISC: Euro-Asian Climate Center/WMC (Moscow); JCOMM (Obninsk); Radioactive pollution modeling center (Obninsk); World Radiation Data Centre (WRDC) (St-Petersburg); WDC Sea Ice (St-Petersburg); WDC Hydrology (St-Petersburg); RHM/RSMC (Khabarovsk); RHM/RSMC (Novosibirsk) GISC Moscow is planning to assist designated DCPCs in certification and registration process and to work with the DCPCs to complete the compliance test cases and upload the results to the online form as requested by TT-CAC. Work on setting DCPC JCOMM is in progress with estimated completion in June 2016.

5 GISC Moscow connectivity/ 24h cache/ metadata catalogue
GISC Moscow handles data exchange according to its AoR with GISC Exeter, GISC Beijing, GISC Offenbach, GISC Toulouse and GISC Seoul via RMDCN. Data exchange with GISC Tokyo is handled via the RTH Khabarovsk, with GISC Melbourne - via Internet. 24-hour cache on GISC Moscow (April ) , 8.5 GB. Metadata catalogue on GISC Moscow (April ) contains records from which 3429 records belongs to GISC Moscow. DWD OAI-PMH Monitor JMA WIS Monitoring Panel

6 GISC Moscow Backup procedures
GISC Moscow has backup agreements with GISC Offenbach and GISC Toulouse; GISC Moscow – GISC Offenbach: GISC Moscow and GISC Offenbach handles Regular Quarterly Backup Download Tests; Following centres from GISC Offenbach AoR are connected to GISC Moscow: Austria, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Switzerland, Kenya, Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Holland, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Macedonia, Turkey. NCs/DCPCs from the GISC Moscow AoR are connected to GISC Offenbach: NC Minsk, DCPC/RTH Khabarovsk, DCPC/RTH Novosibirsk. GISC Moscow – GISC Toulouse Workshop on GISC Moscow - GISC Toulouse Backup was held on February It was agreed to apply the same backup model that is used for backup with GISC Offenbach and that backup testing procedures between GISC Moscow and GISC Toulouse should be elaborated first of all for NC Kiev.

7 GISC Moscow improvements
On February GISC Moscow cluster has been updated to new network cluster architecture that allowed improve service level and stability of GISC Moscow operations. New GISC monitoring services were implemented using Zabbix software and available at

8 GISC Moscow improvements
New monitoring services allow to monitor GISC hardware, virtual machines, operating system, middleware and GISC services in real-time mode and also estimate SLA of GISC Moscow.
