In 2010 the Office of the Seimas signed an agreement on financing and management of the project supported by the EU structural assistance funds
„E-Parliament: development of e-democracy measures at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania”

5. Goal of the project
To strengthen interaction between the Parliament and society seeking:
greater mutual awareness and understanding between the population and the Parliament;
public participation in the process of preparation and adoption of decisions
To strengthen interaction between the Parliament and society with the help of information and communication technologies seeking
