3 “Equality at the heart of everything we do”
“Equality at the heart of everything we do”. A reality – Not just another noble slogan! As a trade union, PCS organises groups of workers who have joined together to achieve common goals in the workplace, such as fair wages, better working conditions and a safer working environment. We work with members to promote equality and tackle discrimination in the workplace, society and the wider world. PCS is committed to ensuring those members in groups currently under-represented in our union’s structures are encouraged and supported to play a full and active role. We do this by conducting regular equality mapping and ensuring employers conduct EIA’s.
