2 These questions can be answered with a yes, no, or one word answer
Fact Based Questions These questions can be answered with a yes, no, or one word answer - Did Mr. Jones leave the farm? - Is Snowball a pig?

3 Clarifying Questions These questions are asked to clarify information that you may not understand. - Why did the animals not like Mr. Jones and the humans? - Why did Mr. Jones forget to feed the animals?

4 Evaluative Questions These questions ask you to make a judgment about something and to support your judgment. - Why was Squealer willing to act as the middle man between the animals and pigs?

5 Connection/Prediction Questions
These questions ask you to make connections between things that have happened so far and use those connections to predict what might happen next. -How does Beasts of England act as symbol for the rebellion and what might it inspire the animals to do?

6 Today’s Questions Write 2 questions for chapter 6 and 2 questions for chapter 7 - Avoid Fact and Clarifying questions. -Work to write evaluative and connection/prediction questions. When you turn your questions in, you will not receive points if they fall into the fact/clarifying categories.
