Individuals are really important to the discoveries and changes in medicine. Later in history some of the most important breakthroughs were the work of determined and inspired individuals. Plays a role in:

5 WAR War Countries work together to fine new remedies.
Desperate to try anything in order to keep soldiers on the battlefield. However, can destroy medical progress. Plays a part in:

6 EDUCATION Plays a role in: Education
Lack of education in the early years like the Middle Ages means that there in continuity in medicine. Changing ideas means better education and that people start to question ideas that have gone before. Plays a role in:
