1 Population Impact of Natural Disasters
By: Dillon, Sam, Alex M. Justin

2 Summary Natural Disasters have decided the fate of where people settle, the crude death rate that a certain area has experienced, and the result of crops and other goods being able to be distributed from that area. Therefore, natural disasters have and continue to leave their mark on human populations across the world.

3 Examples Natural disasters has affected many people. In Iowa, uncommon weather caused crops to be destroyed and thus declining the physiological density of the region’s arable land. droughts hurt crops affecting the supply of food available will be a problem in overpopulation. foreseen by Neo-Malthusians, people will fight for food

4 If global warming projections of a 250 ft rise in sea levels are correct, the arithmetic density would be zero in North Carolina’s outer banks. many people in areas like Tornado Alley either die by these, or survive to see the destruction of their home and/or town.

6 Solution Most Natural Disasters we humans couldn’t hope to control, so the best way to fix natural disasters to prepare and plan for them. One of the easier things to do would be to distribute emergency supply kits, as most households either don’t have one or have one but it isn’t properly stocked to actually survive for at least 3 days. Another thing we can do to preemptively prepare for disasters is to make a safety plan on what to do according to various disasters.

7 Tactics when in a threatening event
Simple things like what to do, where to go, and where to meet in case your family gets split up are all things that will make your life and survival easier if they are premeditated. The last thing you can do to easily prepare for disasters is make strong and durable relationships to the people around you, because when disaster strikes and if something disrupts today’s established communication like a cell tower going down, you’re going to be relying on your neighbors, and other local organizations, and they’re also going to be relying on you.

8 Precautions for dealing with hazards
A Emergency supply kit, and some of the contents you should be able to find inside Even something as simple as a fire escape plan that you did in elementary school could one day save your life.

9 How does it affects us now?
wealthy nations have devised certain programs to deal with widespread disasters.Although, these tactics have been proven to be more futile with dealing with catastrophic situations than resolving. for example, the the council of Excellence in Government’s readiness quotient is taken lightly be states, which affects how they will be ensured. Most refuse to have faith in the governments hands because of accidents like hurricane Katrina. most people immigrate to other states that are free from the ranges of hurricanes and earthquakes on the coastal us, but they are prone to other hazards like tornadoes. even though most of the safest cities are located in the inner continental part of the US, the arithmetic density is still higher in coastal parts, despite the hazards. this is the official insignia for the control center for disease.its purpose is to handle pandemics to small epidemic pathogens.
