6. WHAT THE CHILDREN LIKE ... You can sit with family
You can earn tokens for showing the value of respect
You can make new friends
Less noisy
Less messy
We all say ‘Grace’ together
Queue for hot dinners is shorter
Fair/everyone gets half an hour to eat

7. WHAT THE CHILDREN DON’T LIKE ...
Children can’t choose where to sit
Slow eaters – children have to wait for everyone to finish
Miss our friends at lunch and play
No tomato sauce
Servers don’t always do a good job
Classes can be late
Pack lunch and hot dinners are separated
Young children are not independent
Some children get very hungry waiting for the second sitting

Swap sittings over
Train servers to make them better
Young children to take out their own plates
