The UK’s monarch is the head of state whose duties are mostly ceremonial and restricted by the constitution of the UK.

The Chancellor is the head of government (chief executive) and head of military, while the President is the Head of State whose role is more ceremonial (much like that of the UK’s monarch)

The head of state is elected by the people which is an aspect of Presidential, but the head of government (prime minister) is chosen by the president which is an aspect of Parliamentary.

• The legislative branch is far weaker than the executive (can pass laws without the legislature’s consent)
• The government restricts information to the public by influencing the media to censor information
