2. Important Scheduling Dates
Friday, January 26th: Administration presents scheduling process to grade 6 and grade 7 students
Wednesday, February 14th: Students come home with course selections sheets and recommendations
Monday, February 19th: Students turn selection sheets into grade level School Counselor

7. Enrichment Math & Algebra: Who?
Students who respect the learning environment
Students who are well organized, complete all work
Students who are self motivated and eager to learn in and outside of the classroom
Students who are willing to put in the time in class, at home, and during extra help sessions

8. Why Enrichment Math in 7th grade?
Give students the option for 8th Grade Algebra
Prepare students for Eureka Algebra curriculum
Extra challenge for motivated student seeking rigor!

9. Enrichment Class Layout
Two 30 minute class periods a week
Students are expected to preview lessons at home (videos, notes, flip classroom)
Class time will be a short teacher directed lesson, and facilitated practice time

All students gain exposure to each offering by rotating through 4 two week programs of each language during one quarter of the school year as part of our 7th grade exploratory rotation

Grade 7 students choose a World Language and provide a second option if the first choice is full.
Adds and Drops can be made throughout the summer so if your child isn’t sure which they prefer yet, there will still be time.

Your child may participate in one or two of the performing groups below: Please indicate your selection(s) below.

Students in performing groups will receive one quarter of each of the other exploratory classes.
If your child is dual enrolled in a Performance Group courses they will have their Physical Education course opposite that course during semester 1 or 2.
Students will be expected to perform in three (3) evening concerts. One in December, March, and May. Concert dates will be sent home in September.
