7 Who is Curriki? Curriki is the only Internet site in the world for community-created, K-12, free curricula A single repository for validated curricula With review & comments by subject matter experts It was founded by Sun Microsystems in 2004 It became an independent 501(c)(3) in 2006

8 Site Status Update Quick Facts Total members: ~30,000+
Total Asset: ~1400 (And about to go exponential) Traffic: Slightly under 1000 visitors and 5K page views in a day sustaind in April and May A 50% reduction in traffic form January time frame. North America dominance in traffic diminishing. Significant up-tick in traffic as a percentage from India in particular, but Asia, Australia and other regions as well. Global reach is extending. Rate of asset contribution seems to be steadily increasing, and we expect to see exponential growth in the coming quarter as users discover the new tools. New memberships rate steady but slow at around 100 to 200 a week.

What is Collaborative Curricula? Collaboration with others to create or modify curriculum units that enhance teaching with new Internet technologies. Features include: Support to help you integrate content into your classroom Collaborative tools to help you work with a team of designers The ability to add resources and standards into the design

Originally a powerful research tool Today there are over 1 billion people on the Web The Internet contains a trillion links on 100 billion Web pages, with an estimated 7 million pages being created daily
