6 Galactic Clusters Galactic clusters are group of galaxies, some containing thousands of galaxies. We live in a galactic cluster called the Local Group, which contains at least 28 galaxies. Superclusters are huge swarms of galaxies, and these may be the largest entities in the Universe.

Find the Unit titled “Exploring Our Solar System” and click on it. You will be at the Concept titled “Characteristics of Our Solar System.” Click on View Concept. Begin reading, watching the videos, and doing the activities. When you reach the bottom of the page, click the NEXT button and proceed through the Concept.
