Capt Jo Babin – Commanding Officer (CO) Michel Asboth – Army Cadet League – Liaison Officer Marc Rosove – Support Committee Chair Feel free to ask questions during or after this presentation Really appreciate you all coming out This will be 1 of 2 all parent sessions for the year Intent is to give an overview of the year aheadand the cadet program. 3 The Cadet Program Capt. Babin to outline
Mission. The mission of the Cadet Program is to contribute to the development and preparation of youth for the transition to adulthood, enabling them to meet the challenges of modern society, through a dynamic, community-based program. Vision. A relevant, credible and proactive youth development organization, offering the program of choice for Canada’s youth, preparing them to become the leaders of tomorrow through a set of fun, challenging, well-organized and safe activities. Aims 1. Develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership 2. Promote physical fitness 3. Stimulate the interest in youth of the sea, land and air activities of the Canadian Armed Forces. Capt. Babin to outline
