6 Objective ISTE Educator Standards Ensuring Common Expectations and Fidelity Leader: Seek opportunities to support student empowerment, help shape a shared vision and advocate student equity. Facilitator: Model creative expression, empower students to take ownership of their learning and create opportunities for students to innovate and solve problems. 8 Edgenuity: Digital Curriculum
Digital Curriculum: Digital resources used for instruction Blended Learning: [a] formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through online learning with some element of student control over time, place, path, and/or pace and at least in part at a supervised brick-and-mortar location away from home. The modalities along each student’s learning path in a course or subject are connected to provide an integrated learning experience. (Horn and Staker 53)

Students enrolled in Edgenuity course as needed Students enrolled in Edgenuity course based on their Synergy enrollment.

2nd or 3rd Week of July: All previous year 12 graders Archived All past school year classes archived All student dashboards cleared Week before school starts: All credit-retrieval (CR) courses reloaded with new school year indication (SY17/18) All blended-learning (IC) loaded in, including any curriculum modified courses, with new school year indication (SY17/18) New courses are linked to Synergy Synergy courses link options are activated. If completed, CR course options activated in Synergy for injection process (auto credit retrieval process) Reactivation of any 2nd or 3rd year 12 graders
