PASTOR: The “Great Commission” and the “Great Commandment” can be a bit overwhelming.
PEOPLE: I do want to obey you. I want to “want to” be a witness.
PASTOR: Beginning with our neighbor or a friend, we can pray for your love to become real to them.
PEOPLE: May my neighbor come to know your saving grace. Reveal yourself to them.
PASTOR: Open their eyes to your living reality.
PEOPLE: I give you permission to change my attitude toward my friend and neighbor. Open my heart to love him with deeds of kindness, with gestures of grace.

The Profile …
Numerous tribes of tough and hardened people eking out an existence on the harsh, uninviting slopes of the Rif Mountains.
The Northern Shilha follow a traditional Muslim, male-dominated family structure.
Overpopulation and poverty are big problems among the Rif.
The Rif often reject these efforts as being an intrusion upon their culture and traditions.
The Northern Shilha are nearly all Muslim; however, their religious practices are based more on traditions and the decisions of the community judges than on the Koran.

6. The Unreached People Group
Prayer …
Pray that God would go before us into the uninviting slopes of the Rif Mountains and touch the hearts of the people there.
Ask God to strengthen, encourage, and protect the small number of Northern Shilha Christians.
Ask the Lord to raise a strong local church among the Northern Shilha.
Modern farming methods are desperately needed to aid farm production in the mostly arid soil.
Pray that the doors of Morocco will soon open to missionaries.
Ask the Holy Spirit to soften the hearts of the Northern Shilha towards Christians so that they will be receptive to the Gospel.
