2. Who are the people in our community that help us?
People in our community that help us are police officers, firemen, doctors and nurses.

3. What do they do and how do they help us?
Doctors help us by making sure our health is good. Nurses help people at the hospital so they can get better. Firemen can help people if there is a fire or an emergency. Police officers help us by always making sure that we are safe.

4. The community
People in our community are people such as those who are in your sport team, people who go to the same school and people who go to the same church as you. A community is a group of people that live in the same area.

5. The people in my community
People that are in my community are:
my basketball friends.
Everyone in my auskick team.
The people I go to school with.
All the people that go to the same parish as me.
the people who live in Oakleigh.

6. The community
The community is very important to everyone. Even if you are new to the community that does not mean you shouldn't start a conversation or make friends.
