1 Who needs a spouse? I Peter 3:1-7
This may be husbands’ least favourite passage. They love it but don’t often see it. How do women feel about this passage? We’ll see today

3 What’s The Purpose of Marriage?
Short answer… To help YOU become the person GOD wants you to be! IT will cost you a great deal, it will hurt, it will humble you, but it is worth it!

5 I Peter 3: 1-2 1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

7 The fear of the LORD …is the beginning of wisdom, Proverbs 9:10 … is to hate evil Proverbs 8:13 … is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the  snares of death. Prov 14:27  Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Prov 31:30 Fear is half of the motivation of good conduct. The other half is love!

8 I Peter 3: 3-4 3 Do not let your beauty be that outward adorning of arranging the hair, of wearing gold, or of putting on fine apparel — 4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Are you a role model for other women, especially for your children! Are you the best example of a Christian wife that they will ever see? Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.

18 I Peter 3:7 7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honour to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. Peter (What was his wife like?)

Help her make one happen. Few things will hinder your prayer life as much as problems in your marriage! So understand & honour your wife
