3. My Music Interest:
I have an interest in music and background in music, so I started by teaching a 6th grade chorus class for several years. Since we went from two full time music teachers to only one.
It’s hard to find enough students who want to sing so I created this class: Music Appreciation (for all students).

4. Our Procedures
Students bring a notebook with them every day. A one subject spiral notebook (approximately 70 pages).
Bring a pencil and/or pen every day.
It is the student’s responsibility to find out what they missed and make it up (when you were absent from class).
Only a few notes are taken each day, then we will watch a video related to that genre.

5. Academic Grade: Notebook/notes = 25% Quizzes = 25%
Collages/Reports = 25%
Participation = 25%
Total = 100%

9. Jupiter Grades, Now called Jupiter Ed
All students have brought home a temporary login sheet.
Parents will be able to monitor student progress reports on Jupiter.
Parents will be ed when a student is missing an assignment or every Friday.

11. First Progress Report: TOMORROW Friday, September 9
The school sends home progress reports every five weeks
Not a final grade until December
The most updated grade is in the detailed report on Jupiter Ed.
Lowest Quiz score is dropped and extra credit will be given only in the last five weeks.
