1 The Urbanization Game West 2016 World History

2 Directions We are going to trace the development of urbanization by drawing out the growth of a city in England during the Industrial Revolution. Each student will receive a piece of 15” by 20” paper to draw out their city. Students will add more to the city based off of each round that we play. There will be twenty rounds overall. Each town must have a key in the bottom right corner that Identifies each of the buildings that will be built in the town. Be sure that each of the buildings drawn remain the same size as portrayed in the key. (I was able to fit everything in a 3” by 8” key in the bottom right corner.)

3 Key Homes are about ¾ of an inch wide.
All other buildings are about 1 inch wide. Factories are about 1.5 inches wide. Cemeteries are about 1 ¾ inches wide. Bridges and Canals are at minimum 1 inch wide.
