3. How it Works
Client reaches out to Health Advocate when experiencing a critical or disruptive event
Health Advocate’s Licensed Counselors provide consultation to the HR team to manage a workplace crisis or disruptive events such as:
-Organizational change and restructuring
-Merger and acquisition events
-On-site accidents
-On-site violent event
-Natural disasters
-Other critical incidents

4. Key Components 24/7 Unlimited Telephonic Professional Consultation
- Assesses the event and advises the HR team on the best approach to respond
- Develops a strategy to minimize employee disruption, maintain normalcy and productivity
- Develops an effective employee communication plan
On-Site Support
-- In additional to the above, provides group facilitated discussions and one- one employee support

Risk Mitigation Training
- As a precautionary measure to address situations that could lead to risk, (e.g., drug/alcohol issues, harassment, workplace violence, etc.)
--Or following a disruptive event to improve preparedness

as needed basis
Three policies and their total annual hours are available
Note: All on-site professional support and training time is tracked as part of the annual hours. Travel costs are included in policy price.
