Paul (Acts 22:3-4)
A lost religious zealot
Cornelius (Acts 10:1-2,22)
A Moral man, lost in sin
Rich Young Ruler (Matt. 19:16-22)
Lacking in complete devotion to Jesus
Pharisees (Luke 18:9-14)
Deceived in self-righteous hypocrisy
Paul (Zeal must be applied in the right direction) (Philippians 3:4-8)
Cornelius (morality must be combined with obedience! (Acts 10:34-35, 43, 48)
Ruler (Remedy obeying God’s command for complete devotion (Matthew 22:37)
Pharisees (must humble ourselves) (James 4:6-10)

To be saved, we must have: zeal, morality, full obedience and humility
That obedience must be rendered to Christ
(Acts 4:12), “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
