Delivers from deserved destruction (103:4; Col. 1:13-14)
Buys me out of the consequences of my sins (Tit. 2:14)
Crowns with steadfast love and compassion (Eph. 2:4-7)

4. God’s Mercy Supplies (103:5)
Satisfies with every “good” gift needed in life (Jas. 1:17; 1 Tim. 6:17)
Strengthens every day to renewed life and service (Isa. 40:31)

5. God’s Mercy Preserves (103:6-7)
The Lord does not forsake His people (103:6; Psa. 37:28)
The Lord makes Himself and His ways known to His people (103:7; Isa. 2:3)

6. God’s Mercy Waits (103:8-10)
He holds His punishment back as long as possible (103:8; 78:38; 2 Pet. 3:5-9)
He does not always punish as much as His people deserve (103:10; Ezra 9:13)
But, His punishment will come (103:9; Gen. 6:1-7; 18:23-19:25; 2 Pet. 3:9-10)

7. God’s Mercy Sympathizes (103:13-17a)
God sympathizes with His people as their Father (103:13; Matt. 7:7-11)
God sympathizes with His people as their Creator (103:14; 78:38-39; 139:13-16)
God sympathizes with His people as their Savior (103:16; Heb. 2:17-18; 4:15)

8. God’s Mercy Rules (103:19)
The Lord did not establish His throne to rule with an iron fist
The Lord established His throne to rule as the merciful, Most High God (Dan. 4; Heb. 4:16)
The merciful throne of God rules FOR His people and AGAINST His enemy (Psa. 89:5-14)

9. God’s Mercy Differentiates (103:17b-18)
God’s mercy is ONLY for those who FEAR Him (103:17; 33:8; 89:7; Ecc. 12:13)
God’s mercy is ONLY for those who KEEP His covenant (103:18; 119:2; 37:34; 1 John 5:3)
God’s mercy is ONLY for those who DO His commandments (103:18; Ecc. 12:13; Deut. 11:26-28; Heb. 5:9)
Who BELIEVE that Jesus is God’s Son (Acts 16:31)
Who REPENT of their sins and turn to God (Acts 17:30)
Who CONFESS their faith in Jesus (Acts 8:36-38)
Who ARE BAPTIZED for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38)
Who LIVE FAITHFULLY to the Lord and His covenant (Acts 5:29)
