5. God wants you to have PEACE and PURPOSE in your life
"Christ … suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” (1 Peter 3v18)
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3v1)

Yearning for comfort
Emotional vulnerability
Looking for affirmation from father figures

9. How do we break free?

10. 1. Know the Truth You were made to be fathered
“Is there anyone up there who cares for me?”
“Our Father in Heaven …”

12. 2. Ask God to reveal more of his Father Heart to you
“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear,
but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons,
by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”
