1 Project 9: Investigating User Benefits and Risks Associated with IoT Use REU Student: Joseph Prause Graduate mentors: Arup Ghosh and Neda Hajiakhoond Faculty Mentor(s): Dr. Wisniewski and Dr. Turgut Week 5 (June 17– June 23, 2017) Accomplishments: Condensed Literature Review to an explanation of the state of mHealth to be able to use as a portion of my final report Finished Heart Rate and Sleep API for CareBit application with Intraday data. Issues and Problems Heart Rate API only gave the highlights of the day so far, which is not enough information for a caretaking application. I sent a request to FitBit, and then they gave approval for Intraday information for our application. Intraday heart rate file types are drastically different then the log based ones, so I had to refactor my class files to account for this. Plans for next week: Change GUI so that it is a dashboard based system instead of a Fragment based system. Begin implementing notification system.
