3 Robert Frost (1874 – 1963) was an American poet whose work remains as relevant to us today as when it was written. His figurative language leaves open many possibilities and interpretations; making it multi-layered much like a person. Many of his poems are about people finding their own way and breaking down traditions or expectations.

4 Much of his poetry is about isolation and depression in urban life.
