Storms involve sudden changes in air pressure, which can cause rapid air movement.

Warm air is rapidly pushed up and form huge clouds.
As the warm air rises, it cools and forms dense thunderheads.

Happens when water overflows normally dry land.
Excessive rain, broken dams, rapid ice melting.
Most take hours or days to develop, but some happen with little warning.
Floods cause a lot of expensive damage and are very dangerous!
