3. Yellow Admiral [Kahu Kowhai]

Increasing in the city area (but still rare),
Common in country areas
Larval Food plants:
Nettles (Urtica spp)

Protect from Birds & Wasps

4. Common Blue [Pepe Ao Uri]
(Zizina otis labradus)
Lifecycle:
Status:
Small populations in the city area,
Widespread in country areas
Larval Food plants:
Clovers (Trifolium spp) & Trefoils (Lotus spp)
Rearing Notes:
Have a meadow area, encouraging Clovers & Trefoils
