2. The song is about the 'Silent Twins', June and Jennifer Gibbons, two black girls who lived in Haverfordwest in Wales. The "disco dancing with the rapists" line refers to a 'novel' written by Jennifer called 'The Pugilist', in which a local disco incites the patrons to insane violence. They commited several acts of arson, which led to their imprisonment. As someone mentioned earlier, when Jennifer died, June began to live a normal life, which she still does.
