Language Arts – Fiction & Non fiction, characters, setting, plot, Problem and solution, Parts of a book-glossary, table of contents, past tense endings, declarative and interrogative sentences, prepositions, plural nouns, author’s purpose.
Math –Money, addition/sub, problem solving.
Science – Forces. Movement.
Social Studies – Government goods/services.Maps.
Monday–Write each spelling words 3 times. No math. Fluency folder-List 11. Seal and Ocra. Read library book. Sign folder.
Tuesday–1. Write the spelling words in alphabetical order (ABC).2. Write a sentence for spelling (1-7) words.3. Math sheet (one side only).4. Fluency folder.5.Read Library book and sign AR folder. Test tomorrow. Start working on map of your bedroom and neighborhood..
Wednesday–1. Write a sentence for spelling words (8 to 15).2. Write a sentence for all vocabulary words.3. Math sheet 4.Fluency folder 5. Read Library Book and sign folder. Work on your bedroom map/neighborhood.
Thursday–1. Have your parents give you a practice spelling word test. Practice using your vocabulary with your family members.2. Math sheet. Fluency folder. Read Library book. Work on your bedroom /neighborhood map.
Friday-Read for (20) twenty minutes each day using your library book. Sign your AR folder. Read on the weekends.
TESTING ALL DAY. No absences, please. Thank you for taking your children to the doctor after 10:00am.
Spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension tests. Parents, please sign the tests I send home on Fridays and return to me. If you did not get them, send me a note.

4.Clever: Smart.
5.Double: Two times bigger or as much.
6.Amount: How much or how many things.
Social Studies MAP Project
Map Project: Students will make a map of their room and their neighborhood for 2 grades. I am sending a paper for this. Due Tuesday, Nov. 15, No late projects will be accepted. I will grade based on: quality, color, detail, neatness and knowledge. Los estudiantes disenaran un mapa de su recamara y su vecindad. Se vence Martes, 15 de Nov. No se aceptaran reports tarde. Oct. 31. Class party. Bring a goodie to share. Haunted House; Fairy Tale costumes only. No masks, clowns, or scary characters; and parade on this day.
