Semester Guidelines Plan to complete the following sequences by the end of Spring 2012, if possible, or do not start them under quarters because that will complicate the situation: - Engr Engr 183 (or honors equivalents) - Math Math Math Math 254 (or accelerated or honors equivalents) - CSE CSE CSE 321 (but see below!) - CSE either CSE or CSE - ECE ECE 261 - ECE ECE 309 (but only after ECE 206 +ECE 261 are completed)

Semester Guidelines If you cannot complete the introductory CSE course sequence CSE CSE CSE 321 by the end of Spring 2012, then plan to do so via one of these two alternative routes: By the end of Spring 2012: CSE 221 Summer 2012: CSE 2222 (transition, 4 sem-cr-hrs) Autumn 2012: CSE (transition, 4 sem-cr-hrs) By the end of Spring 2012: CSE 222

Semester Guidelines If you are a BS CIS major, plan to complete CSE by the end of Spring 2012 if you intend to take ECE 2100 to satisfy one line-item requirement under the semester program. Do not plan to take any CSE courses other than CSE 2222 in Summer 2012, as it is highly unlikely that any other CSE courses will be offered during this one extra-short summer. For courses offered by other departments, please ask at the CSE Advising Office.

Semester Guidelines Test person worksheets

Semester Guidelines Complete a quarter projection schedule in advance and bring it to your transition planning meeting with the CSE Advising Office. You will receive notification about setting up an appointment.
