Call Center (877) WWR services the Total Force – Active Duty / Reserve / Retired / Former Marines Quantico Landstuhl Camp Lejeune Camp Pendleton Okinawa The WWR changes the way we did business – from multiple command involvement with multiple different processes – to a single command that brings unity of command, unity of effort, and continuity of care across the Marine Corps. The WWR handles all WWs – active duty, reserve, former Marines, etc… It has a strategic reach spanning USMC operations world-wide. Its CONUS presence includes 2 WW battalions, 1 WW company in WESTPAC, PATs and liaisons at MTFs and VA PRCs, 10 DISCs, and 120 Hometown Links. With this capability, if required, the Regt can put a Marine in uniform on the front doorstep of a Marine in need – for that face to face leadership. We currently have 232 staff personnel in the Regt - with planned future growth to 361 personnel. This is a significant manpower investment and shows the Marine Corps’ commitment to WW support. I talked to you this morning, just for a bit. As you may recall from that, I am running into a lot of problems with my current capabilities. I think that I am just working too much. I think that my brain gets real tired, and this is the result. - My right leg. No pain, it just begins to drag. - Headaches.  Not intense, but the left side of my head hurts. New. - Speaking/Words  It is worse - Memory – New. I don’t remember having this problem. -Loss of Balance - It used to be very rare/ Now it is common. - Depression – Often, I do not even want to get out of my bed. New problem. - Stress - I do not remember having this.

41 Talk to Wounded Warriors
Were you injured? (Do you mind telling me) What Happened? How are you doing? Their response….”I’m Fine” You should disagree “I could never handle that” etc… Did you loose a friend? If so, it is the worst thing that happened. Say nothing negative Especiappy “anti-war” Thank you, etc… What unit were you in? Best unit in the Army. If a Marine, it is important. But not as much.
