Renaissance scholars employed the humanist method in study, and searched for realism and human emotion in art

4 M.C. Escher 1898 – 1972 was a Dutch Graphic Artist. He was known for his often mathematically inspired woodcuts, lithographs, and mezzotints. These feature impossible constructions explorations of infinity architecture, and tessellations.

Describe your whirlwind drawing Explain where you used each of the principles of design. What inspired you to draw this creative idea?

20 Display your art Write your artist statement for your whirlwind design. Take down your pop art drawing and statements carefully. Display your whirlwind artwork in the windows using masking tape. Save all of your drawings in your portfolio. Put your name on the back!
