2 Battle of the Bands! Calling all Bands and Duos! Performers wanted to compete in this year’s ‘Battle of the Bands’ which will be held on 11th October. Meeting in F305 at break on Friday for more information. Miss Mairs

3 Sports Journalism Club
Thursdays 1.20pm lunchtime room G114. We will provide snacks but please feel free to bring your lunch with you. We have an exciting opportunity for you this week! Miss Kowalczyk & Mr Aitken

4 Thursday Drama Club Reminder that Drama Club is back on this Thursday in G771, continuing work already started on Macbeth. Miss Wood

5 Bring it On! Reminder that the introductory workshop for the show is Thursday after school in G771 (Drama). This is for anyone interested in being in the show. Please attend if you want to Dance, Sing, Act etc. Open to all pupils who would like to be involved! Miss Wood

The 5km Challenge Event is on Friday 28 September at 1.15pm. Run or Walk – the choice is yours! Sign up in PE. Miss Maclaine

7 European Day of Languages - Wednesday 26 September
To celebrate, we are running a quiz which could win you a £15 voucher. Collect your quiz sheet from the Languages Department today. Listen out for the next 8 days when we will use 8 different languages to say HELLO. All of these languages are spoken in DHS! Miss McInnes

8 Barcelona Sports Trip Any pupils interested in going on the Barcelona Sports Trip should collect a letter from Miss Maclaine in PE. Miss Maclaine

9 New York 2020 – Final reminder
Any S1 to S5 pupils interested in going to New York in 2020 should attend a meeting in Miss Steele’s room (F108) today at 1.20pm for more information. Bring your lunch with you! Miss Steele

10 Peer Supporters Thank you to all peer supporters for their input to S1 PSE in the last couple of weeks. The next meeting will take place period 2 on Friday 21 September in G112. Ms Preston

11 Games Club Games Club every Wednesday at lunchtime in G238. Exciting new games for everyone to enjoy including the Indian version of snooker, called Carrom! Come and enjoy. Mrs Singh
