Internet Protocol stack Five layers Each layer down progressively closer to hardware TCP/IP layers live at layers 3 & 4 Closer to application level

TCP/IP Protocol Connection oriented
Has a three way handshake to get things started Uses Sequence numbers and acknowledgments Uses a tear down phase in which both parties agree to terminate connection Uses seq and ack to make sure the is no loss of data between the computers

Made all normal states Started up a new thread ( the client) Saved thread object in pcb.server/pcb.client based on current thread Uses signalEvent, waitForEvent to emulate the sending and receiving data
