The criteria for being inducted into the Civic Advocacy Network is creating outstanding opportunities for student engagement around these Six Proven Practices

6. Civic Advocacy Network Award Program Timeline
Applications were due June 1st
Evaluation and scoring was completed by August 1st
Awards ceremony will be on Constitution Day (September 17th) at 1:00 PM in the auditorium at the Memorial Building 120 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS
Schools submitted evidence of how their school has created programs addressing each practice.
Those applications were scored by a panel on a scoring rubric. Schools were given more points the higher the percentage of student engagement.
Each practice was scored and those scores combined and the winners selected.
4 Elementary Schools 2 Middle Schools and 2 High Schools made the inaugural class.
