Financial abuse is the term used to describe harming someone by taking or defrauding them of their money, goods or property.
Financial abuse is never acceptable, no matter how minor it may seem.
Financial abuse is a crime.

Efallai nad yw oedolyn neu blentyn yn gallu amddiffyn ei hun rhag niwed neu ecsploetiaeth oherwydd anabledd dysgu neu gorfforol, nam ar y synhwyrau, eiddilwch neu broblem iechyd meddwl.
Both Adults/ Children are at risk of financial abuse.
Adults/ Children may be unable to protect themselves from harm or exploitation due to learning or physical disabilities, sensory impairment, frailty or mental health problems

4. 3. BETH YDYW? WHAT IS IT?
Gall cam-drin ariannol ddigwydd ar unrhyw adeg yn unrhyw le, a gall ddigwydd i bobl o bob cefndir. Gall ddigwydd yng nghartref y person, mewn cartref gofal, canolfan ddydd, ysbyty neu mewn man cyhoeddus.
Camdriniaeth ariannol yw defnyddio eiddo, asedau, incwm, cronfeydd neu adnoddau person heb eu cydsyniad deallus neu eu hawdurdod.
Financial abuse can happen to people anywhere and at any time, and affects people from all types of backgrounds. It can happen in a person’s home, care home, day centre, hospital or in a public place.
Financial Abuse is the use of a person’s property, assets, income, funds or any resources without their informed consent or authorisation.

Mae’n cynnwys dwyn, twyllo, ecsploetio, rhoi pwysau ar berson o ran ewyllys, etifeddiaeth neu drafodion ariannol, camddefnyddio eiddo neu fudd- daliadau, camddefnyddio pŵer atwrnai parhaus neu bŵer atwrnai parhaol, neu benodeiaeth neu ddirprwyaeth.
It includes theft, fraud, exploitation, undue pressure in connection with wills, property, inheritance or financial transactions, the misuse or misappropriation of property, possessions or benefits, the misuse of an enduring power of attorney or a lasting power of attorney, or Appointeeship or Deputyship.

Achosion anesboniadwy o godi arian o’r banc, gweithgarwch anarferol mewn cyfrifon banc, biliau heb eu talu, prinder anesboniadwy o arian, y person sy’n gyfrifol am yr arian yn gyndyn o ddarparu bwyd a dillad ac ati, diddordeb anarferol gan berthynas, cyfaill, gofalwr neu werthwr ym materion ariannol yr oedolyn/plentyn.
Unexplained withdrawals from the bank, unusual activity in the bank accounts, unpaid bills, unexplained shortage of money, reluctance on the part of the person with responsibility for the funds to provide basic food and clothes etc., an unusual interest from a family member, friend, carer or salesperson in the financial affairs of the child/adult.

Cadwch eich llygaid ar agor am:
Anallu anesboniadwy i dalu am nwyddau neu filiau
Eitemau personol yn mynd ar goll yng nghartref y person
Amodau byw isel o gymharu â’r arian y mae’r person yn ei dderbyn
Look for:
An unexplained inability to pay for household shopping or bills
Personal possessions which go missing from the person’s home
Living conditions are low compared to the money the person receives
