3 The comparative Unit 1: Labo-langue plus more + adjective + que moins
less aussi as Paris est plus grande que Lille. Paris is bigger than Lille. Le mont Blanc est moins haut que l’Éverest. Mont Blanc is less high than Everest. The adjective must always agree with the noun. © Oxford University Press 2015

Tu aimes ton travail? Tu as fait des études? Inversion Aimes-tu ton travail? As-tu fait des études? Est-ce que Est-ce que tu aimes ton travail? Est-ce que tu as fait des études? Qu’est-ce que tu aimes? What do you like? Quand travailles-tu? When do you work? Comment vas-tu? How are you? Où travailles-tu? Where do you work? Qui aimes-tu? 5 Perfect tense Unit 1: Labo-langue
The perfect tense is used to talk about events in the past. You need two parts: avoir (j’ai, tu as, il/elle a) + past participle. To make the past participle of regular verbs: -er verbs -ir verbs -re verbs jouer  joué finir  fini vendre  vendu j’ai joué I played j’ai fini I finished j’ai vendu I sold Some verbs have an irregular past participle: faire  fait avoir  eu être  été écrire  écrit voir  vu lire  lu Some verbs use être + past participle: Je suis né(e).
