For regular -er verbs, take away the -er and add the following endings:
porter
to wear
je porte
I wear/am wearing
tu portes
you wear
il/elle porte
he/she wears
on porte
we/they wear
nous portons

vous portez
ils/elles portent
they wear

Le mont Blanc est moins haut que l’Éverest. Mont Blanc is less high than Everest.
The adjective must always agree with the noun.

Comment vas-tu? How are you?

5. Perfect tense Unit 1: Labo-langue
The perfect tense is used to talk about events in the past.
You need two parts: avoir (j’ai, tu as, il/elle a) + past participle.
To make the past participle of regular verbs:
-er verbs
-ir verbs
-re verbs
jouer  joué
finir  fini
vendre  vendu
j’ai joué I played
j’ai fini I finished
j’ai vendu I sold
Some verbs have an irregular past participle:
faire  fait
avoir  eu
être  été
écrire  écrit
voir  vu
lire  lu
Some verbs use être + past participle:
Je suis né(e). I was born.
