2. Introductions:
Unit:14
Target audience: Primary 5 pupils
Target: Giving instructions
This is a potato print. Pupils can look at the pictures
from step one to step eight. Then use the sentences
on the last page to help the pupils. The sentences
are in the wrong order.Pupils can work alone or in
pairs to work out the best order for the sentences.
Give them the answer by double click the speaker.
Check the answers and discuss them.
If you wish, you can have your class follow the
instructions and make a variety of potato prints in
class. They can then write about the experience, using
the set of instructions as a basis.

3. A potato print Do you want to make a potato print?
You can follow the instructions .

4. Step one You need a potato, a knife, some thick
paint, a dish or saucer
and a piece of paper
or cardboard.

5. Step two
Cut the potato in half.

6. Step three
Cut some small shapes on the smooth side.

7. Step four
Pour some paint into a dish or saucer.

8. Step five
Put the cut side of the potato into the paint.

9. Step six
Press the potato onto the paper.

10. Step seven
Lift up the potato carefully.

11. Congratulations
Now you have a potato print!

The following sentences are in the wrong order. Please arrange the sentences in the correct order.
A. Press the potato onto the paper.
