2. The Game: Attack and Defend
Why is it called “Attack & Defend”?
Because you can add to your own chips or destroy other players’ chips.
The “chips” are the Positive and Negative chips we’ve been working with in pictures.

3. How to Keep Score
You DON’T win by having the most chips. You win by having the most points.
To earn points, get at least 5, 10, 15, or 20 chips.
The FIRST time you get 5 chips, you get 1 pt.
The FIRST time you get 10 chips, you get 3 pts.
More point values are on the Point Values for Chips on the handout.

4. More About Points You LOSE points by getting negative chips.
For example, the first time you get 5 Negative chips, you lose 1 point.

Lastly, at the end of the game, you earn points by having more chips than other people. See the Point Values for Chips table.

5. How to Play the Cards
When it’s your turn, you can play a card on yourself or on anyone else.
The cards add to or take away from your chips.
Keep track of your chips with the chips tracker.
