2. 1 Chro 29:1-3
Furthermore King David said to all the assembly: “My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the temple is not for man but for the Lord God. Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance. Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:

3. Building God’s house
Loving what God loves (His House & His Body/ people).
God looks highly of those who build His house, a place for God’s people to worship Him - e.g. Centurion (Luke 7:1-10)
Co-labor: We are not only part of the House but we are also building the House - God’s will has God’s bill - The purpose of God is fulfilled when we fulfil our destiny

House of God, Gateway to Heaven
God’s Habitation and Dwelling Place: - God to freely move, manifest and transact
Purposes for God’s House:
A meeting place for God and man
A dwelling place for His Presence
An outpouring place for His Favour
A revealing place for His Power
A governing place for His Kingdom

God wants a House so He can dwell on earth to meet us face to face (access). - Ps 23:6, Ps 27:4-6
Meeting God by His ways and standard - Rev 4 & 5 (God, angels & the redeemed)

a. God is accessed
b. Angels are impacted (activated)
c. Saints are transformed

7. 2. A dwelling place for His presence
The House of God should be built to keep His presence (Exo 33:14-16)
Know God well to know what He likes Jud 6:17-23 – Gideon Gen 18:3-5 – Abraham
God will put His name here if His presence is here (1 Kg 8:20-21) - Seal of approval - His name represents His Person, Nature, Word, Purpose, Power, Ways and Acts

Gen 28
13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 
14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 
15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”

Gen 32:1 So Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. 2 When Jacob saw them, he said, “This is God’s camp.” And he called the name of that place Mahanaim (double camp).
V28-30 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there. So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel (face of God) “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”
