The purpose of our being is to glorify the King! We do this through Appreciation, Adoration, Affection, and Submission. The King is glorified by subjects who are willing to die for Him, especially when they first show that they are willing to live for Him.

2. Two Aspects of the Glory of God
The Glory that God has in Himself
Glory is part of the essence of God (Acts 7:2; Isaiah 48:11)
The Father and the Son share in the glorious essence of Deity (Hebrews 1:1-3; Rev. 21:23)
The Glory that is ascribed to God (1 Chronicles 16:29; 1 Corinthians 6:20)

3. How do we Glorify God?
Appreciation & Thanksgiving (Psalm 92:8; 97:9; 8:3; 2 Corinthians 4:15; Ephesians 1:5-6)
Adoration & Worship (Matthew 2:11; Psalm 29:2; 86:8-10; Exodus 25:40)
Affection & Love (Mark 12:29-30)
Submission & Obedience (John 17:4)

4. Are you living to Glorify the King?
