The Matanza-Riachuelo Basin includes part of the Buenos Aires City and the Municipalities of Almirante Brown, Avellaneda, canes, Esteban Echeverría, Ezeiza, General Las Heras, La Matanza, Lanús, Lomas de Zamora, Marcos Paz, Merlo and San Vicente.
