岳飞（1103年3月24日—1142年1月27日）was a famous general in Song Dynasty who defeated the northern invaders many times. But the emperor listened to Qin Hui, a traitor of the country and asked Yue Fei to retreat his army. Yue Fei was tortured and later on killed by Qin Hui and the emperor.
岳飞 is known by all Chinese people as one of the best examples who are loyal and devoted their lives to one’s country.
People loved Yue Fei so much and they also felt outrageous at what Qin Hui did. So they made a memorial to commemorate him, and Qin Hui’s statue was down on his knees.
